Our Medical and Program Case Management teams provide essential support to residents across all programs. Each program has a dedicated Program Case Manager to offer personalized care, assisting with legal matters such as court appointments, probation requirements, and documentation.
The Medical Case Management team oversees all programs, ensuring medications are managed and doctor’s appointments are scheduled as needed. While FIRST is not a medical facility, this team coordinates external healthcare services to meet residents’ medical needs.
On-campus counselors address mental health concerns, and referrals to outside physicians or specialists are arranged when necessary. Case managers also connect residents with vital social services, including housing, financial resources, and community programs, empowering them to build stable, independent lives.
FIRST at Blue Ridge is a North Carolina-licensed, peer-led therapeutic community dedicated to assisting individuals with chronic substance use disorders. Their mission is to provide opportunities, guidance, and education to help individuals make positive life changes and become responsible, productive members of society.
