Short Term Program

This is a program for individuals who:

1. Cannot commit to the long-term program due to family or employment responsibilities or…
2. Have specific Court involvement (DUI or drug charges).

These individuals remain in Phase One during their entire time in the program and are required to participate in all House activities while they are here. This is a fee-for-service program and the typical length is 30 days although other lengths of stay can be arranged.

The fee for the Short Term Program at FIRST includes room, board, clinical assessments, group therapy, as well as transportation to and from 12-step meetings and other activities. Transportation to legal and court appointments are also offered at no additional charge within a prescribed area. For those who have legal issues this low cost program allows professionally delivered, evidence based, substance use treatment to be added to the client’s legal fees while still remaining affordable. In some cases a sliding fee or payment terms may be arranged.
